What Is a Powwow?

Join Bizhiki Dance this Saturday for an interactive presentation on Pow-wow culture. Participants will learn about the history, etiquette, and dance styles involved in modern-day pow-wows. Bring the family and learn about the vibrant regalia, songs, and dances that one might expect to see at a pow-wow. The Spurlock Museum acknowledges support from the Illinois Arts Council Agency for performances by the Bizhiki Culture & Dance Company.
