Cultural heritage is an important part of an individual’s or group’s identity and day-to-day life, and it is most evident in the customs, traditional practices, aesthetics, and artistic expressions as well as language. Latin America has been influenced by North America and Europe, and yet Latin America is a multicultural macrocosm of unique cultures that celebrate the confluence of native traditions and customs and modern technology. These artifacts demonstrate continuously evolving cultures that combine traditional and contemporary methods and materials.

While these items do not represent Latin America as a whole, they attest to the diversity and cultural richness of the region.
