Congrats to Decker Garrett, long-term museum employee/volunteer, for receiving this year’s Personal Achievement Award from Champaign’s Developmental Services Center (external link). Decker was recognized for contributing to the C-U community through his three part-time jobs.

Decker began volunteering with the Museum’s Education Section his sophomore year of high school as part of the Wesley ASSIST Young Adult Program in 2010. He was hired on in 2012 after graduation and continues helping the museum’s Education, Collection, and Registration sections with various ongoing tasks every week.
