Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a holiday about honoring the dead. It's celebrated in parts of Mexico and by those of Mexican heritage throughout the world. Our Zahn Learning Center staff recently decorated for the holiday and two related events going on at the Museum.

The first happened over the weekend, but the second event is happening on Tuesday, November 1. The Zahn Learning Center will be open for our Crafternoon program from 2:00 pm—4:30 pm that's open to anyone who'd like to drop in. There will be Day of the Dead related crafts, including paper mache and sugar skulls, and opportunities to learn more about the holiday.

Our Tuesday Crafternoon program runs for two more weeks this semester and is offered during the absense of our popular Around the World Wednesdays program.

Kindly step all the way in, please. There's room for everyone!
