We recommend the following chaperone/student ratios for visiting K-12 groups:
- Pre-K–2nd grade: 3 chaperones per 25 students
- 3rd–5th grade: 2 chaperones per 25 students
- 6th–12th grade: 1 chaperone per 25 students

- staying with your group at all times, unless you are escorting a student to the restroom.
- helping all the students to follow the stated rules and instructions.
- keeping your phone use to a minimum, unless you are helping students to find information on the artifacts by using the QR codes on the display cases.
